I work at a school at the intersection of three very busy streets, so I wondered how I could use this space to help my students become more connected with their environment. What my students found with PEEK was that by slowing down and paying attention to their senses, they enjoyed the feel of sun on their faces, and cool breeze across their skin. They said they really liked getting away from their routine to notice the sound of wind in trees, butterflies and insects,  experience calm in such a busy place.
